Relationship Issues
Your therapist has learned what causes many typical relationship problems, and how to eliminate them. This ranges from intimate couple issues to problem relationships at work.
For couples, this can include negative feelings between the couple, codependent relationships, or sexual dysfunction. For the most part, the client simply comes to a feeling of peace around an issue with a lack of any emotional pain. In the case of sexual dysfunction, your therapist can usually restore these feelings back to the partners.
The way we interact with people is often governed by traumatic incidents in the past, which are deeply buried in our subconscious. Whether we are relating to family members or fellow workers, these past traumatic incidents affect our behavior often leading to unhappiness and conflict. This process addresses these issues eliminating some of the underlying causes of relationship difficulties.
Treatment is usually just a few sessions, although of course any particular person can take more or less time.
