Addiction



Your therapist can eliminate two of the major problems with addictions: cravings and withdrawal. This treatment goes far beyond conventional techniques in this field. This part of addiction is fairly fast, taking very little time. This works on all sorts of drugs (heroin, cocaine, alcohol, etc.).

However, addiction can be a complex problem. Many people abuse substances or have other kinds of addictions for other reasons than simple cravings. This complex problem can usually be treated, but generally takes specific, one-by-one treatments of the underlying issues.

The treatment of serious addictions should be done with a therapist who specializes in this area and has training and experience. More mild cases can usually be handled by any of the peak states certified therapists.
